CYPRIOT CHANNEL, Turkey — Three Turkish tuna fishing vessels surrounded the Greenpeace ship Arctic Sunrise in the Cypriot Channel this morning, with crew from one vessel attacking the ship with lead weights. Greenpeace is in the area to call for an end to unsustainable fishing and to call for the establishment of a marine reserve between Cyprus and Turkey.

This is why CPT Paul Watson, who founded Greenpeace, left the group! Total weenies! They get in their faces and then just hide and film? I hope they are embarrassed! If something is worth doing, it is worth doing right! Greenpeace goes all the way out there and just wave signs? Really? Why bother even having a chopper? What a waste of charitable donation money! To say nothing of the pollution from the old diesel ship they're in. If they're gonna go all the way out there, take action!

well green peace must also be environmentalist... see how they collected the lead instead of it going into the water?the more lead they collect the more they recycle and are able to buy more fuel for their boats.lets just hope the fuel they use to run around on is biofuel.as for all you scumbags trying to earn a living to feed your families shame on you.I might have wanted to catch that fish from a million dollar charter boat!!
