Black images

This is directed at the racists leaving negative comments: After the laughter, after the racist comments....I am so tired of played out stereotypes. I'm exhausted with the exploitation of negative black images. Fed up with people using these news clips too validate their degenerate views. One man does not equal a people. In defense of Antione Dodson, let me say that this man was acting in emotion and in that moment he did not care what he looked like nor how the words came out of his mouth. His attempt was to get justice for his sister. Was the outcome of his actions funny? Perhaps. But after we laugh, should we use this to mock him? No. My hope is that Mr. Dodson can somehow take this in stride and put it where it belongs on the shelf with other moments in pop culture. He should not internalize the mean spirit behind the comments left under videos with his image. He should rise with the tide and crush stereotypes. He should crush stereotypes like Deonte Bridges did when he obtained over $1 Million in scholarship funds through his hard work and determination. He should crush stereotypes like Katie Washingotn, the first African-American valedictorian of Notre Dame. Their stories, their videos should be viral. Please check them out at

@OneSummerSky Yes, that was a mainstay for me. I had control over my shows content. If I had handled the Dodson story I would have left some of his remarks intact but I would have included an interview w/ the police, response from neighbors, tips on safety. And the description of the suspect would have been a graphic. To have Mr. Dodson speaking directly into the camera was suspect to me. It was not journalism, it was exploitation and I felt sorry for his sister. They didn't protect the victim.

@mrgentlemen4u I do. When I hear people making racists statements in my presence I let them know that's not cool with me. Especially if they take it to another level. A lot of times I'm around people who graze racism. They go just so far without crossing into Hitlerish ideology. When they cross the line I say, "Wait the hell up." That's whay I do. Other people just let it hang and let it burn. Not me. I may not go buckwild or put on a show, but I will say, "hey, hold up". That's me.

@ASexyChef Where was the white middle class a couple of years ago when they still had their money? Were they also worried about the plight of the poor men regardless of color? Why is the former white middle class joining the "no one cares about the poor man" only now that they have lost their money? @ASexyChef Collateral damage. This is a rich and poor society, no middle. In order to keep this going they need the poor to fight amongst each other. We do need to stop take a deep breath and show them, by stop blaming each other and start being more united as American people, not through race.
