You cannot change Salem without first changing the people in Salem. Thats why Im running for Governor. Oregon needs a leader who will challenge conventional thinking, innovate, and make state government accountable to the taxpayer.

  • I'm worried about the people Portland, Eugene, and Salem. Three areas that practically vote for the rest of the state and have a huge liberal base. The rest of the state needs a voice and is going to have to speak strongly this election, which is going to be the most important governor's race in our lifetime. Put out your signs, voice your approval, yell in their ear. I know you're more humble and modest than they are, but if you don't fight for it, you can't keep it.

  • I just turned 18 and have registered to vote. I am definitely voting for Allen, I was thinking about voting for Chris Dudley, but I think i have changed my mind.

  • I wonder why he doesn't trust the bureaucracy to stop wasteful spending, LOL!

  • This takes real courage. A typical politician will simply bend to the will of the masses, right or wrong. Allen appears to be a true analytic which is so rare in the political realm.. In an age where propaganda has its fingers around society's throat, this man is a fresh breeze of creative problem solving. Oregon has a critical need right now for this logical approach. Allen Alley will get this moderate's vote. It is time to get outside the square headed box of typical bureaucracy!

  • On Monday, April 12th, Allen was the ONLY candidate for governor who showed up at the COTV debate held in Bend. The others cancelled. Frankly, I am tired of Central Oregon being snubbed by politicians! Allen Alley appears to get it! If he is for real he is the right person for the job as governor of our great state!

  • it makes sense to me. since the governments, state and federal, are essentially corporations, why should they not be paying some kind of tax?

  • I'm in!

  • Very thoughtful, compelling message Allen! It would be awesome to see these methods in play! Best of luck!

  • Very interesting, refreshing, ideas. Would you really do this? Lets see. I'd vote for it!

  • I actually like this. I don't think anyone knows about the $40B. I didn't.
