@southernspectre I second your opinion on 6013, "Yeah, 6013's are great if you don't know what the fuck your doing" What part of that don't you get!? I taught my-self how to weld buddy! With 6011 on a little ac buzz box, in my dads garage welding railroad plates together! Then when I was 17 I went to tech school for welding. I can tig, tig aluminum, mig aluminum, mig, arc, and oxy-fuel. Lets see,"E70S2,ER308L,ER309 4043,4047,3003,6061, just a few tigs rods. Shit in your hand and squeeze it dude!

I am sick of you little shits comin on to youtube tryin to act like you been burnin rod forever, I have done it all boy and let me tell you I have seen kids like you come and go. Oh and real rod? what else have you worked besides 7018? the one rod EVERYone knows about lol

Lol i burnt up 2 rods for the first time in my life and the slag peeled of and it looked NICE the slag curled up! and that on a tiny 2 mm rod.... and first time i was welding! :O

ok dude, for one if it was good the slag should have peeled right off when he was done welding, and i will bet money that his bead looked like v's insetad of c's, it's because the ROD ANGLE WAS TOO STEAP!!!!!! Yeah 6013's are great if you don't know what the fuck your doing. Use a real rod, like a 1/8'' 7018 or an 1/8'' 6011 don't put as much rod angle on it go slower and keep steady and you should be fine.
