this family in japan owns a pet king penguin, and they've trained it so that it will walk all the way to the fish market with its little backpack to get fish everyday. it's super cute, and i just wanted to share it here cuz the site's kinda slow

It is not animal cruelty. All you really have to do to domesticate a bird is hand raise it from an egg, but I do not think that is what happened here. That being said if he makes the trip every day in a small town then the people know to look out for him when they drive. Walking to a fish market is a safer way to get food then swimming in waters teeming with leopard seals and killer whales, and it looks so happy, also they do not mate for life you all have no idea what your talking about idiots.
