Not Good Enough (Jemi) 15

Demi ran as fast as she could towards the Jonas' house, when she got there she stumbled to a halt when she saw no lights on, she had only left the house twenty minutes before. Demi groaned remembering that they hadf an interview on the Tonight show, she knew it was only two more blocks to the studio and began running again, by the time she got to the studio it had started pouring and she was not feeling good from all the running.

"DEMI!" Rob exclaimed surprised, he was walking aorund outside making sure no one tried to sneak in. Demi ran to him throwing her arms around his waist clinging tightly to him. "Hey now, whats the matter?"
"Joe, I want Joe." Demi sobbed burrying her face into his chest trembling.
"Okay little one.' Rob soothed stroking her hair gently, he moved into the studio and headed into the boys dressing room.
"Omgosh." Denise exclaimed staring at Demi confused, Rob tried to set Demi on the couch but she wouldn't let go.
"You need to get Joe." Rob murmered, she nodded and quickly left.

"You guys have two minutes." The assistant announced, they nodded and were impatient to go on the show so that they could leave. Joe wanted to talk to Ashley to finally end their relationship.
"Joe" Denise said grabbing his arm, he stared at her surprised as did his brothers.
"What is it, we're about to go on." Joe asked getting worried when he saw the concerned look in her eyes.
"Its Demi, you have to come quick. She won't talk to anyone but you." Denise explained, his eyes widened and he grabbed Nick's shoulder.
"Tell Jimmy that something came up, Demi needs me." Joe said softly, Nick nodded and watched the two hurry off.

"Demi, hunni Joe's here." Rob murmered, Joe sat on the couch next to him and Demi flung herself into his arms.
"Hey now, what's the matter baby?" Joe asked stroking her hair rocking her back and forth.
"A..aunt R.Riley sh..sh." Demi stammered burrying her face into his chest not being able to say it.
"She's what hunni?" Joe demanded holding her away gently looking into her eyes.
"I..I..went home after dinner with you guys and uh when I got there she didn't answer so I walked into the kitchen and I saw her on the ground and there was blood, soo much blood." She sobbed Joe's face paled and he held her tighter kissing her hair.
'Shh, Shh." Joe murmered, he looked up at his mom for help. "its going to be alright."
"n..no, my dad he had to have something to do with it." Demi whimpered staring at them with wide eyes.
"do'nt jump to conclusions Dems." Denise said gently, Demi just cuddled closer to Joe.

"Hey whats going on?" Kevin asked twenty minutes later when him and Nick finally got back into the dressing room. Demi was sound asleep in Joe's arms and he kissed her forehead.
"Demi's Aunt Riley is dead." Joe replied softly, their eyes widened in disbelief.
"omgosh, do they know who did it?" Nick asked curiously, Joe shook his head slightly.
"Demi thinks it was her Dad." Joe stated softly, Kevin took Demi into his arms so that Joe could stand and stretch.
"Well, he does have motive I mean, he wanted to be Demi's manager no matter what." Nick stated, Demi opened her eyes looking around and burst into tears.
"heyyy, shh its alright." Kevin soothed rubbing her back and rocked her back and forth.
"I..I thought it was a dream." Demi burried closer to Kevin.
"we should go to the police station to see if they have any developments." Denise suggested, they all nodded in agreement and Kevin carried Demi out to the car.

"Miss. Lovato, we've been expecting you." Officer Dubbs said smiling gently, she just stared at him.
"d..did you find anything?" Demi asked softly, he smiled gently taking her hand.
"We have evidence that your dad was in the house during the uh murder." he mumbled stroking her hand gently.
"I had a feeling he might be involved somehow, but I was hoping it wouldn't be true." she whispered, he could see all the innocence in her eyes shattered and smiled gently.
"We're getting ready to go pick up your dad for questioning why don't you head on home with the Jonas' for a while." he suggested, Demi nodded and Joe took her hand gently tugging her out the door.

"Its not him." Forensics specialist Joanna stated shaking her head she had just gotten done examing the knife that had been used.
"What do you mean his fingerprints were found all over the place." Officer Dubbs. said confused looking at the results.
"you need to get the mother and sisters fingerprints, they also had a motive. Ashley's motive jealousy and Diane's motive greed." Joanna replied raising her eyebrows.
"man, how am I going to tell Demi." he said to himself, he left the room and headed off towards the Lovato's house.
"how you doin Demi?" Kevin asked smiling gently, she was sitting at the dining room table and looked up at him.
"Alright, but where am I going to live now?" Demi whispered, he sat beside her and warpped his arm around her shoulder.
