Beginner Weight Lifters Six Secrets To Fast Muscle Fitness
There is so much to learn for beginner weight lifters and so many people and programs offing different advice about muscle fitness. In this article I want to provide you with seven basic secrets to success that will get you started on the right foot.
The first secret to successful muscle fitness and bodybuilding is to learn the "weight lifting lingo". Every specialty such as body building has its own language and terms. For example anaerobic exercise, concentric contraction, eccentric contraction, getting cut, high reps, and split workout are all weight lifting terms. For a better understanding of the "Lingo" just Google "weight training lingo".
The second secret is to great muscle fitness is to "hire a trainer". Actually this is often more affordable then you think. Ask around the gym for a recommendation and invest in as many sessions as you can afford. Even a few sessions a month can make a big difference.
The third secret for excellent muscle fitness is not to live at the gym. A common mistake beginners make is spending too much time working out in the gym. They think that the more time that they train the bigger there muscle will get. The truth is that overtraining can have the opposite effect. When you exercise for about an hour the hormones responsible for muscle growth in your body start to diminish. Then other hormones are released that can actually reverse all your hard work. For best results stay focused and workout hard for no more then an hour in the gym.
The fourth secret for muscle fitness and noticeable bodybuilding is to start working on the large muscle groups. Beginners in particular should always focus on the large muscle groups first. These are the muscle in your legs, chest and back. Why these muscle groups? They are the largest muscle groups so they burn more fat then any other group. They are also the most noticeable of all the muscle groups. That means that any progress you make with this group will be noticed by admirers long before any of the small muscle groups.
The fifth secret for proper muscle fitness is to eat a healthy well balanced diet. Lean proteins, whole grains, fresh fruit and vegetables are essential to good health. Cut out the fast food, sugar, alcohol and junk food. A good diet will accelerate your muscle gain significantly.
The sixth secret should be no surprise; get plenty of rest every night. This is very important because your muscles repair themselves and grow only when you sleep, not when you are working out. So in order to get maximum muscle fitness and growth get at least 8 hours sleep a night.
