Omnitronic NKB - The new plastic speaker system

A new series with new possibilities. Omnitronic's new NKBs are rugged and insensitive plastic speaker systems with a very attractive price performance ratio. Although designed for mobile applications they are by no means restricted to this area.

The NKBs are 2-way speaker systems which are available in the sizes from 20 cm (8") to 38 cm cm (15") and as passive and active systems. A specialty: the 30 cm (12") and 38 cm (15") models also feature active versions with integrated player units. These are equipped with an MP3 player which accepts SD cards and USB devices.

A perfect solution for solo entertainers who like to sing along to a playback. Also ideal for garden parties -- simply connect your iPod or plug in an SD card and get it started. Possessing a digital amplifier (Class D architecture) and a switch mode supply they weigh only little, compared to common systems of that size -- this is also true for the pure active models.

A low weight is always comfortable, especially for transport. Apropos, the two handles for each model also help to alleviate the carrying. Only the smallest speakers forgo the holds, but as they are very little and lightweight, they can generally be lifted very easily.

Thanks to the form and the fixtures the speakers can be placed on a speaker stand, mounted to the wall with a bracket or laid on the floor for monitor use. Our passive speakers can be connected via speaker cable. The active NKBs feature rear microphone and line inputs (XLR/jack and XLR/RCA respectively) with separate volume adjustment. The master section offers 2-way tone control and a clip LED.
