2008 Bon Dance: Palolo Higashi Hongwanji

It's really hard as a single-man operation to get various angles when they're dancing to choreographed movement with live music. Some of the audio jumps might be not be as smooth as usual but I wanted to keep the audio intact as much as possible.

There's one part where it might seem to drag, but I wanted to keep the obasan duo, they're too cute :P

Also I cheated, I only videotaped the yakisoba stand this time around and didn't get any of the other foods. SO I grabbed the dango footage from LAST YEAR (that I didn't use for anything) and put that in. The crazy thing about that was the exact same song was playing in the dango clip as the yakisoba clip so I didn't have to hide the audio at all. Chances of that were pretty high actually, I don't really dance to that song.

The obasans at the end, I wanted to keep that opening transition shot of the bow, even though a kid walked through the shot, and the audio got messed up, I was determined to keep that opening shot no matter what

I was Mitsuwa marketplace today and they were having okinawa/kyushu weekend sale, they were playing okinawan music. Made me really sad, i wanted to bust out some moves! they played shima uta too

sorry, can't get a name for it. It's a common song at Hawaii bon dances though, something to do with the moon. They'll usually play it twice a night.
