The first glimpse of the long-awaited return of Max Payne - in action. Coming March 2012 to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
Still haunted by the memories of his traumatic past, Max begins a new life working private security protecting a wealthy industrialist and his family in São Paulo, Brazil. When gangs target the family under his protection, Max is forced to fight to save his clients and clear his name, in a bid to, once and for all, rid himself of the demons that have tortured him for far too long.

This better have some similarities to the original 2. they've changed so much that MP was iconic for, the setting, the dialogue and his looks for one. Dude why did you shave your hair off?! Hope there's comics in it. The first one was the best, even with its bad graphics. And damn they need to stop changing the actor who plays Max in every game. Sam Lake FTW

The shouldn't have changed the location. New York was a great location. Brazil just doesn't give the game the same feel...

So Rockstar would appear (and okay its just one trailer but still) to have completley lost sight of what made the original so memorable - over the top hard boiled dialogue that DIDN'T take it self too seriously.
Also, Max needs to look like he's constipated at all times.
