  • I lost my job 7 months back. I am still unemployed, and almost reaching the end of funds I have. Still I couldn't resist donating to Big Cat Rescue. I just had to for the great work they do for these lovely animals. I just donated 10 bucks. May God bless Big Cat Rescue.

  • Well thank you very much for your support, happy holidays and good luck finding a new job, I hope you get something soon!

  • i understand that it not very likely that captive raised felines would survive in the wild, i thought i saw a documentary on animal planet, history or discovery of a man who taught captive raised tigers to hunt in africa and those individuals were later relocated to asia. any information concerning this would be greatly appreciated.

  • I believe that was Dave Salmoni, I'm not sure if they were ever successfully released or not? The trouble is people can spend literally years doing this with two tigers and in that time hundreds or thousands of wild tigers have been killed and a massive amount of their habitat as been destroyed. We should focus on education and preservation of their habitat so the remaining wild tigers can survive.

  • ill fine a way for me to help

  • We don't have any albino animals, we do have two white servals, a white tiger and Freckles the liger.

  • Do you guys have any albino animals i dont know how to spell it but its when they are born white with red eyes. or animals that are born different if you do please tell me about them i think that BCR is very cool and interesting.

  • No, they'd lack the hunting skills they needed and would have a rough time trying to get by, they would probably become a nuisance animal preying on livestock etc...since they would associate people with food. We rescue most of our cats when they are already mature and do not breed at BCR,. We are unsure of the history of a lot of our cats also and genetically they are not good specimens and wouldn't be released into the wild if this happened :)

  • I was just wondering, IF these cats were able to return to the wild, would they survive? I mean to those cats who practically grew in BCR from cub to full adult.

  • she sure is pretty :) leopards r one of my fav big cats :) there so pretty and graceful
