@sscolta well his point isn't to wow you , ya know? he has his own inuendos in playing simple chords and singing which are what make him john , i think you just don't like his style because it's not flashy, as in he doesnt use fancy vocal textures and what not.

With all my respects for his fans but this cover of The Door’s Blue Sunday is simply a bad cover more in the level of a street busker than anything else; the singing is bad without any texture and his guitar chord progression is simple embarrassing to hear.
