Cubs fans are idiots if they blame the whole thing on this guy.

They're a bunch of professionals that could have, you know, not completely fallen apart after the incident.

It was a foul ball! The play didn't even result in a "negative" for the Cubs. No runs scored. Big deal.

Your sitting in the seats a ball which appears to be a foul ball comes at you, the normal reaction is to catch it..I mean r people serious..How about Prior not battling down to get the final out that inning..Prior did not pitch to the count leaving evertg ball in the zone when ahead ..terrible

Bartman had nothing to do with the NLCS loss. Like a president who gets blamed for a bad economy, Bartman was a scapegoat for frustrated Cub fans.

The Cubs were outscored 17-9 during games 6-7 of the NLCS. Even if Bartman didn't try to catch that ball, the Cubs would have still lost the series.

Blame your pitchers for giving up 17 earned runs in 2 games and the offense for only putting up 9 runs to the Marlin's 17 runs.

Game 6: L 8-3 2 errors
