Smile - Charlie Chaplin Cover (Kazoo Solo)

This song is so beautiful and uplifting...i could hear it all day...
Charlie Chaplin composed the music and used it for his last silent film "Modern Times" which depicted the desperation of the common man ("The Tramp" in this case) during the great depression...the lyrics make good sense in a time when people needed to see and hear something that could relate to their broken reality yet lift their spirits...
Charlie was good at that...he was a beautiful blend of comedy and tragedy...the ridiculous and the heartfelt...

apart from "Modern Times", i would also recommend "The Circus" , "The Kid", and "The Great Dictator"...I"m glad for all those who've posted snippets of Charlie Chaplin films for us all to remember...
