he talks about africa all the time, and yes it's hot right there, and yes it's hard to plough in the jungle. but there are lots of places where there is good ground for agriculture. i don't think the climate really stops africa from developing. i think that's because the aid africa is given.
Weird enough, but it's like this:
when there's a crisis, the aid will help africa. but africa does not find a solution them selves, since aid already did. so they don't develop. good intentions.. don't work

This is a great DVD series, go and buy it. The man brings a abrasive but poetic commentary on the continent. And is able to do so because he knows what he is talking about through experience.
