Mari Street Fighter III Turbo - NES pirate

Here's an SF pirate for the NES once again, this time featuring an SMB3 sprite. This game is actually sort of different from all the other fighting pirates for the NES, since it plays differently and the characters don't fly around everywhere.

Mario, I don't know if he's a hack of another character or an original. He has some moves similar to Ryu and Dhalsim. I get pretty far in this one (up until Blanka, who whooped my ass) since you can basically just corner the opponent an attack constantly with a jump attack and bring them down.

Oh yeah, and be sure to pause and check out the funky character selection scren. What's with the duplicate Blankas wearing those glasses and earrings? The character sprites themselves though don't feature any changes, aside from color scheme.
