I saw him perform live on Saturday Night Live. It was great!!! The stairwells at NBC made it sound magical.

@stvoyager Thanks for the info. He had a voice like no other. It's funny, when he was first starting out, Elvis said to him that he (Elvis) thought Roy would have more success, if he could just lower his voice a little. No mate, this sound was written by Roy in 1962 and released Single in 02/1963 by Monument Record. Claudette was died in 6/06/1966. His two sons died in house fire in 09/1968.
