wonderful keyboard/back lit, -
great gaming performance, -
awesome audio, -
sturdy build design, -
most everything works, -
beautiful looks, -

Cons: -
restricted intake (solvable with the 12 cell battery) -
some touch-sensitive buttons don't work -
battery isn't great -
using 12 cell battery on lap is awkward -

Hi Dewskerz... I am using a HP HDX 16t Premium Series Notebook.  I need to replace my keyboard and touchpad. Can you please suggest any online shops any stores to buy them?

this laptop is awsome exept the gay core on it i got mine with a dual core 2ghz , gt130m but the dual core makes game so difficult , i wanna upgrade but i cant do it myself and ther eis way too much illigal software on my pc to just bring it in O:

No the resolution is 1920 X 1080. i have the same computer at that resolution and it looks like mine. 1366x768 is way bigger icons ans everything else

@Dewskerz -Not sure if I explained this in enough detail... there are 2 keys on the keyboard the E & the O when it is dim & I have the backlit keyboard on I noticed places where the lettering is wider -in otherwords the silver material on the keys must have worn or chipped off in tiny areas. This is odd since I never use cleaners on the keys nor have I used the keys enough for the lettering to wear down in spots. Just wondering if you have exp this issue. It will get worse any advise?

@Dewskerz Hi Andrew... before customizing my HDX well over a year ago I watched your review -I remember at the time your review was the only one that actually showed the backlit keyboard option. I have the same specs as you do and I have taken excellent care of my HDX as I do with all my computers. I use my HDX as a backup for my desktop. I have noticed the silver around the edge of the lettering on 2 of the keys coming off -although it is difficult to see. Have you had this problem? -Thanks
