  • I, for one, love the upside down block. I find beauty in imperfections. What a wonderful quilt. I would love to see it in person. I think it's difficult to get the full impression of it from a video. But thanks so much for sharing it. Do you still have it?

  • It is even difficult to see a quilt on a bed, hanging on the wall seems best.

One of my daughters has this quilt

  • This quilt is awesome! how soon did you go to a freeform style after Grace's suggestion? she would sure be proud of the superman one.. and the the "leftover (oriental one) I appreciate the fact on 20/20 hindsite.. that you have taken to heart and followed through with advise in your life.... nice to know that there are people like out there! Hugs!

  • I did four more traditional quilts before I finally did a free form one. They are much more difficult

    thanks

  • the quilt is really nice :) when was this video taken. were you offended by what that lady said

  • no, I was not offended, I considered her my teacher

this video was taken in 1988

  • I love your work.....ALWAYS HAVE!!!!!

  • wow, how fortunate you were to be critiqued by Grace Earl ! a most lovely quilt - and your first one?! amazing.

  • of course I look great, that was 20 years ago

  • I first like to say how much I enjoy watching your videos and I am also learning more about quilting. I am a fashion designer and I would love to have quilts as an accessory for my line. You've inspired me to work harder. Thank you -

    Avoir Chaud, NY - hugs.

  • Very nice!
