@opethforlife He did not do everything. They founded the group together, wrote the lyrics together, and composed it together. Between Origin and Fallen, Lee and Moody co-wrote every song together except for two, being Eternal (Moody and Hodges) and Hello (Lee).

The lyrics are still very similar in actuality, but the instruments do sound different. I myself prefer the older stuff too. You're just speaking from bias out of anger though. We don't even know how things truly went between them.

@AmyLeesPetWookiee He did everything in this band, he created this band, wrote all the lyrics, composed all the music with the unique feeling you sense while listening and backing vocals. Amy lee just destroyed this beautiful band when she threw him, john and rocky to make her" own lyrics and music" which in reality doesn't have any unique signatures, because "her music" doesnt differ from any metal band. I despise her because she destroyed the true evanescence.
