Take a tour through the Mars500 'spacecraft' and see where the international crew of six will spend their 520 days in isolation, simulating a real voyage to Mars. Follow crew members on a whirlwind tour of the facility's 4 sealed habitation modules and 1 'Martian landscape' and see how they work, eat, exercise and relax.

Just in: I heard if NASA was authorized to initiate the Mars mission today it would take 10 years from today July 7 2011 to get astronauts there to orbit and return. Landing would follow later. Russia's MARS 500 research is very useful and honorble. USA.

@gordon1201 I'm sure nothing about it will be designed to look good - the walls will most likely be covered in wires and their quarters will be the only place that resembles a comfortable room - just speculation

I hope the actual spacecraft will have a better interior design.. Those "wooden" walls look so ugly.
