Given that there were big news announcements for both AUD and NZD imminent (ie Aust CPI and NZ interest rate), I thought you would have passed on this pair...
My choice yesterday was GBPUSD and CHFJPY - one winner and one loser - break even...
Anyway, curious on your attitude to upcoming news in general - i have found to my regret that we ignore the news at our peril even though it's easier to stick purely to technicals..

Hello Katarche,
I do very much pay attention to the economic calendar in order to not be exposed to a possible news-delivered spike in the chart. However, this trade was an intraday trade and the nearest news (AUD CPI) was still 15 hours away when I took the entry. Plenty of time for an intraday trade aiming for 30'ish pips.
