If ya havent seen this movie, you should! ITS WONDERFUL! I know I know....the ewwwwws own Hollywood. BUT these old films is ONE half way decent thing they did!......Very interesting perspective into the past.....I wish I lived then......

@hogwarts09 Carradine always had splendid diction. Actors were expected to have that at the time, but it is rare today.

@bearsagainstevil naw. he didn't have to whomp him . He "whomped" him with sharp, but loving words--so sharp and direct it made Stewart's character cry. Sometimes, words have a greater effect than physical discipline. The right words can have the same force as a "club."

Shakespeare is misquoted at the end. The dialogue is merging the first four lines of Stanza One and the first three lines of Stanza Two of a beautiful poem from "As You Like It."
