Junction is one hell of a puzzler! Released on the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive in 1990 and strangely published by Konami, this is not a graphical masterpiece although the music is good and fitting. Even if the graphics are really nothing to talk about, like a lot of puzzle games, you need to see over that. Some people are gonna be bored with this game, but believe me, if you're searching for a good puzzle game to train your brain with, this is a great one. You can do one of two things, move the tiles or make the ball move faster on the track (mainly to save time and get the bonus points for time). The tiles represent the track, featuring many variants, you have to move them to get the ball to go in specific places in order to win. You can also move a tile while the ball is on it. Where there is an hole, if you press left, the tile to the right moves left, if you press up, the tile at the bottom moves up, etc. It is probably inspired by the classic game Pipe Dream where you had to put the tiles one at a time yourself, while Junction features a little bit more "action". It seems simple enough, but later stages get really crazy.

  • Dude you have no idea how nostelgic this makes feel Thanks for uploading! I played this game when I was only 8 and could never finish it cuz it was way too hard but I still loved it! If you dont mind can you upload all the music and backrounds? Thanks!

  • @Dave12371 Thanks for the comment, I'm glad you liked it. I'm sorry, but I don't even know how I would rip music from the game and I don't have a soundtrack. I haven't searched if there are more videos of this on YouTube, but you might get lucky by asking that on another similar video maybe. I wish you luck.

  • Thanks for the upload. I bought this game a long time ago and never managed to beat it (unlike my brother). Any chance this was made from a rom? I love the music from my sega genesis, yet of all the eight roms I managed to track down, none of them seem to have music. :-?

  • Yeah, this was made from a ROM and I'm pretty sure that the problem doesn't come from your file, but the emulator itself. On Gens, no music, but on Fusion, the music can be heard like here.

  • Actually, Micronet Co. Ltd. published and developed this game. It is licensed to Konami here in the States.
