How to cook perfect rice

How to cook a perfect batch of rice, every time!

You'll need:

A stove
Salt
Any spices or herbs you'd like to flavor the rice with (I didn't use any)
Water
Measuring cups
A pot with a close-fitting lid
Rice!

Remember, the most important part is the water/rice ratio, 2 parts water for every part rice.
