Ed Coan had 95% of the strength of a 300lb lifter and he only weighed 220lbs. Amazing stuff.

i was 9 years old and this is why i wanted to grow up to be a powerlifter because of guys like ed coan , and my local heros ernie martin , dexter choi and my older brother jim mersberg. i've finally started training the way i always wanted to, and hopefully i'll put up some REAL weight. nice vid

@terrapatraThat's good weight..I don't mean to sound over-critical..but videos like that are cool..I hope to post a video of a one arm chinup..was able to do 6 reps at 180ish lbs..I hope to get to one at 200 now.

@TheRationalTeller i dont dumbell curl anymore. i am 6ft3 180 pounds. i can benchpress 300 pounds only 2 times and i can deadlift 400 pounds 3 times and i dont curl

@terrapatra post a video to prove it..the national record is 130 by "djcire"- look him up on youtube..
it was at the aloha 1986 world champianships the weight on the bar is 855lb 1st attempt he then missed 880 on his 2nd and passed on 3rd, he's in the 220ib class.
