engines move air.
Move more air, make more noise.
He's got big cubes, a single plane intake, high flowing heads, and a gnarly cam. This engine can move A LOT of air. The particular cackle of the exhaust, it's 'note' so to say, owes a lot to the cam choice. The deep echo of the sound owes a lot to the large diameter exhaust he chose. Engines must be congruent. Each part does its part in creating the sound, just installing one or two of these components will not yield this bitchin sound.

Thanks! With the 4.10's, it was going through the traps at 121-122mph at around 6500 rpms.

No. It's got Hooker Super Comp 1.875" headers w/ 3.5" collectors, 3.5" pipes, 3.5" Borla Top Sportsman (XR1) race mufflers, and 3.5" turn-downs at the rear.

Open headers?
sounds good, I'd say at least a 108 center-line on the cam, whats in there for cam?

@Fallraptor
It's a Lunati solid roller, part no. 50103 ... lift is 0.591 int 0.597 exh, and duration is 250 int 259 exh at .050. The LSA is 106, and the ICL is 102.

It looks slightly lowed. Is that just the camera angle or did you do something to the suspension?

@rydefixies
It's lowered a little. It already had coils cut in the front, and I removed a leaf and shortened another one in the rear. It's in the process of getting the pro-touring treatment. I'm planning on QA1 and DSE suspension next.
