The piece is called : See No, Hear No, Speak No...Prejudice.

The image shows a face which has one ear,one eye and mouth covered. Each hand represents different ethnicities whether white, of color, or mixed (like me). I used different hands all over the piece to represent the diverse hands of society. The colors (or colours) that appear behind the figure are numerous skintones blending into one another. Man and woman are represented with the adams apple as well as jewelry. I wanted the figure to be ambiguous of race, gender, etc. I hope my description made sense. Wouldn't it be great if one day we could see no, hear no, speak no prejudice?

The quote I chose is very powerful to me. I feel it sums up racism, it's effects, and a way to a resolution very well. We are all members of one 'race'--The Human Race.
