Its very clear that Al Shabab is preventing peace no matter who is helming the government. The Transitional Government is one who used to be one of their own, and they dont want to talk at all.
They use the pretext of foreign meddling as an excuse for their own violence and crimes.

one assasination will not do a single thing. the Islamic courts are controlling most of the south right now they have taken kismayo merka and a couple other cities and many villages.
