[Capriver dying]

I have no problem with fishing as your ancestors did. They did not foul hook (snagging) fish, they did not block the river with 4 ft piles of rock completely blocking it off and use stolen shopping carts to catch fish.Why isn't the band cleaning up under the bridge ? Stewards of the environment? I say not If your band was smart they would see that the world is judging you by the actions of these few from the shallow end of the gene pool. Get your shit together and do somthing for the environment

This is sickening. I see this point on the river most days. They should show the pile of garbage left under the bridge and scattered around year round. The post that these fish are shared amongst the reserve is a load of shit. Those fish are sold at the back doors of the mall. Drunk, under aged youth are selling the fish to go and buy more beer and hang out at the river bank ( and throw the cans and bottles into the river) I watch it happening all the time. No fish are getting through the dams.

This is discusting. Don't they realize that fish have feeling also? There must be a more humaine way of killing these poor fish. Most of these fish are sold out ot trunks of cars. I really don't think the fish ever get to where they are supposed to go.

Really? Why so much anger? Go to a white fish packing plant, or better yet, an hog killing floor. Now THAT's disgusting. White Man has no business judging these natives. They have done this for thousands of years. Get over it, realize that even if some of these fish ARE sold...BIG DEAL! They are killing the fish with sticks...sounds pretty "traditional" to me. They are excited about the annual "run". All we have given the natives is corruption and apathy. Glad to see them happy for a change...
