Mount Cook is pretty much just as hard to climb as K2. 80 - 90 degree climbs that go on FOREVER!!! You've done some pretty good climbing there! Oh yeah, I hope you weren't standing on the top because Ngai Tahu and DOC would be really mad. (If you did)

It is a technical climb over steep challenging terrain. Weather can change quickly in that area. Permanent snow, ice and glaciers. Many have died trying to climb MountCook. The place is unforgiving and even the very experienced have ended up in deep trouble there. I will never do it again.

Actually, my cellphone wasnt working :( its 3,500m from the base to the top, too much of an accute angle to get cell reception!
