Something to keep in mind is that the "Grim Reaper" as a concept is grim because he carries out his task no matter who the person is - when their time is up, the Reaper comes for them and nothing can prevent him. He's not evil at all. Unlike the red skull in Uninvited which was demonic and evil.

Dunno...I don't really find the Grim Reaper scary - he's just guiding your Soul into the afterlife and that's a good thing I would say.
