  • What is the hull made out of?

  • @greensburgla 1/2" OSB fiberglassed on all seems

  • how much money did it cost to build the boat not including the moter ??

  • @jjdatme Just over one million.

  • I need some advice. I am about to embark on building a houseboat from scratch and where it will be situated will mean a logistical nightmare when it needs to come out of the water for the hull to be maintained. Therefore i am looking for the best material to build the hull with to reduce maintenance. A steel hull that is then "sprayed metal" has been suggested. I have also been told that this could last 50 years or more without neding to come out of the water...Any advice would be great....

  • @flyhighsi I would search for a user by the name of hustn99, here on youtube. If you have a question on boat building he's THE man to talk to. Nice guy too. He's under my subscriptions list.

  • @chip1cob Building our shanty, and floating it was some of the most fun I've had. My memories will last a life time. Look forward to seeing your work.

  • why dont your windows have screens? or glass? Bugs must have ate you up all night!!

  • its a floating glory hole

  • @flyhighsi Unubtainium is the most ecinomical and longest lasting material ,go to ReedRichardsdotcom for prices

  • Some words of wisdom, I'd reconfigure your stove pipe set up. That is unless you want a fire. Because that sure doesn't look like a double or triple lined stove pipe going up through your wood roof.

    Just a heads up.

  • sweet! the hull looks like a giant pdracer.
