Once you master first the basic version of the move (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hQUoDM9tyg4) and then the intermediate one (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ODykATpDrRo), you can jump into a more advanced variation. It requires two bells of the same size. This time you will begin the drill with one of the bells racked, just like before, but you will alternate your reps on each side, blending the downward part of the press and the clean on the opposing sides.
There are many ways you can implement Greg's Clean & Press into your training practice. For instance, you could integrate it into your martial arts practice and perform a set of 5-10 reps per side in between rounds of bag or partner work. Or you could practice it during a conditioning workout. I like to superset it with Kipping Pull Ups or Clapping Pull Ups for a total body power blast. You could even perform Greg's Clean & Press as a stand-alone exercise, for example density style -- like try doing as many sets of five reps per side for 10, 15 or 20 minutes. In other words, your options are limitless, just like with any other movement.
