"I don't think he's been that good from the getgo. I think what he have here is a little social concern in the NFL. i think the media has been very desirous that a black quarterback do well... I think there was a little hope invested in McNabb, and he got a lot of credit for the performance of this team that he really didn't deserve."

@dbcrdnfanatic ...Rush was promoting a tried and true conservative canard that Blacks dont get anywhere through merit or skill, so any accomplishment in circles were they were previously discriminated in, is owed to some sort of "social agenda" that is at the expense of white men in particular. What makes this so insidious is that people like Rush have built an institutional bias in football that blacks are not smart enough to either coach or play football. Mcnabb had to overcome this racism...

Media don't want to admit that Donovan McNabb is one of the few Real QBs left in game. Brady,Manning,Brees are all way over protected by refs.If defensive player hits Brady its a flag and fine.But McNabb always gets hit late and no flag and no fine.McNabb is tough.Like Eagles Coach Andy Reid said some QBs are favored over other QBs in NFL and by Refs.Conspiracy in NFL!!!

@dbcrdnfanatic Its true. The rules of Political correctness are driving the debate more than ideas in ou society and this is truly sad. This fact should also be lamented by those who call for an honest debate on the issue of race. There's NO WAY that'll happen if certain subkects are off limits, and certain folks can't say certain things for fear of being called a racist. Kinda like playing a game of cards where some cards are NEVER revealed.
