@snowsurferdude It just sounds awkwardly slow, I've played this with several ensembles and we have always done this part at quite a fast clip so that it dances along, this makes it boring although pulling back in the brass chorale is totally awesome, they've done that bit splendidly! :D

@alicatted Possibly, but it was wrote to be nice and slow. If its draggy then its the orchestras fault.

Tempo change should be into one, not a very slow three, it makes the whole piece drag - it should be light and flowing.
