@aeadancegirl saying a prayer does not save you. You have to truly believe and want to change. If you ask God into heart, not your physically of course, but spiritually, then He will truly change you. God knows your heart, and loves you so much that he gave his life for you!! I will be praying for you and if you have any questions please ask away!!! God bless

@aeadancegirl confess with you mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in you heart that God raised him form the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:13 says that "Everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved." You could simply say something to God like, "God I know I am a sinner, and I am sorry for my sins, I believe that you came to earth and died for my sins,I want to be your child now and forever, please come into my heart, thank you." Now please understand that by

@aeadancegirl God willingly laid down his own life in the form of Jesus Christ and came to earth, lived a perfect sinless life, and then died as the perfect sacrifice for humanities sins. God took yours and my penalty, which we both deserved and put it upon himself so that you and I could be with Him forever. So the SECOND thing you need to understand and truly believe is that Jesus Christ died for your sins. And Lastly Call upon God to save you! Romans 10:9 says, "that is you conf

@aeadancegirl The Bible also says that the wages, meaning the penalty, of sin is death Romans 6:23. This does not mean a physical death, because all people will die, but an eternal death, a separation from God forever. So because we sin, we earn death, but then comes the good news! The verse ends with but the gift of God is eternal life:) You see God is perfect but saw that we had a problem, the only way to fix that problem was for someone perfect to come and sacrifice himself. @LightAlchemist1216 Great question, and i hope my answers helps! You don't have to be afraid of going to hell, God made it so easy for us to be in heaven with him. The first thing you need to realize is that you are a sinner, Romans 3:23 says for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Sin is anything you do or say contrary to the Word of God, such as lying, disobeying a parent, stealing, outing out in anger, lusting, and the list can go on forever. The second

@spacecase3196 Indeed. I think the main point of all Jesus teachings, however, is that a follower of Jesus should ALWAYS be ready to come meet him when he comes. If I knew for sure Jesus would come back tomorrow, I shouldn't have to behave differently.

By God's grace I am ready because of what Jesus did for me on the Cross of Calvary 2,000 years ago. He died in my place for my sins ... and then rose again, giving me the hope of new (and eternal) life in Him. Hallelujah what a Savior.
