By God's grace I am ready because of what Jesus did for me on the Cross of Calvary 2,000 years ago. He died in my place for my sins ... and then rose again, giving me the hope of new (and eternal) life in Him. Hallelujah what a Savior.

@spacecase3196 Indeed. I think the main point of all Jesus teachings, however, is that a follower of Jesus should ALWAYS be ready to come meet him when he comes. If I knew for sure Jesus would come back tomorrow, I shouldn't have to behave differently.
