BSL: A Responsible Owner's Nightmare

BSL(Breed Specific Legislation)is spreading through the country like wildfire. In light of recent breed bans in Royal City and Louisville, I urge my fellow citizens to stand up and let your voices be heard so this doesn't happen again in another city. As Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King stated, " A time comes when silence is betrayel."

BSL must be stopped!!! Many people all over the USA have to give up pets because of this stupid, unfair law. whats next? Telling us we can't rent an apartment because we have an ADD child? Too much control from the govt. How dare they tell us what kind of animal we can love? My pit is one of the kindest breeds of dogs I've even owned. I'll move out of this country before I give him up.

I Have a beautiful Pitbull. Her name is Bluebell. She is sixteen weeks and 30 pounds. She has papers, but we didn't get them. We paid 60 dollars for her. I love her with all my life!! If Bsl comes to Pottawatomie County in oklahoma, what will i do? Everytime I come home from school, there she is waggng her tail and jumping on me!! I Love her with all my life!! I could not survive in this world withour her. My dad said he would move before they would lay a hand on her. BAN BSL!

@AmericanPitbulls1 so the man said after what happened in a very quiet voice and her father explained then he said I forgive you he said it was my fault I am never owning a dog again Skyla's dad tryed changing his mind but I stood frozen thinking in my head that this man was sitting above his dog and taking the most responsibility possible he was not saying mean things blaming Skyla's dad he was holding him self responsible for not keeping his dog safe, then he picked his pup up and walked home

Back to the story so suddenly the owner was running down the street not knowing the dog was just shot he ran right up while the dog was laying dead in the back cause that is where it happened so he said sorry I need in your yard to get my dog he kept going and he stopped knee-led down and cryed
