  • The fella had the best voice... people tend to ignore this fact.

  • Back in the 60s at the heighth of the British Blues revival, messages started appearing scrawled on London Tube stations walls reading ' Clapton Is God "

Peter Green was a contemporary and played with the Bluesbreakers also. The 'Clapton is God' grafitti started appearing with a slash through it and the message underneath it read "Green is better than God". This is the guy they were praising.

  • From the best album Fleetwood Mac ever did.

  • thanks to share this ....first time i heard this greeny version..........btw beautiful women

  • @Tonicwine999 So would I, no doubt at all! I quite agree with you. Like says Willie Dixon: They make me "ne...ne...ne... nervous!

  • awwwww man no one plays the blues like peter green. God bless him.

  • @norjop Just for the record: The Stumble is not a Peter Green tune, but Written and performed by Freddie King. Peters version with Mayall is lousy, despite all the beautiful work he has left us. I prefer Peters "Stumble" with the Splinter Group.

  • @kayjayscouse People also tend to forget that he was gorgeous!! :-)
