I've boxed before, its my favourite sport. If you had completed a day of training for your black belt and had to spar a guy who was rated 7th in world Kyokushin, you would be changing your tune pretty quickly.

Kyokushin gradings yeah I remember them they pushed you physically and mentally.10 full contact sparring fights at the end of a 2- 3 hour hard grading and the last few with a with a black belt. Shihan Steve Takiwa the one fighting here and he isnt' even punching or kicking you hard as he could you know you earn your belt if shihan Takiwa graded you Osu

wtf kind of crap is this the guy's obviously exhausted. The "boss" i assume means the chief instructor or master. What does the boss get out of beating on a man who doesn't have the energy to throw a kick. By the display of skill here i have no problems saying that there are plenty of people in the style i'm associated with who would easily take it to him.

@nick191088 The exhausted guys is grading for his blackbelt, this is part of what you have to go through to achieve that, showing your heart, the traditional japanese way.I'm not sure anyone could easily take it to steve,he did come in the top five in the world champs after all. What style are you talking about.

@goldglove yeah you're right i just looked back at my comment it's a bit harsh sorry bout that. It's just my nature to get defensive for people. I don't like people picking fights on inferior people to make themselves feal better. I study a blend of thai boxing and traditional taekwondo. We also allow knees, elbows, headshots and throws. It is interesting to see different styles and philosophies. Your "boss" is most likely a very skilled man sorry for talking bad about someone i don't even know!
