@CandyCat957 I have to disagree! I am the proud owner of a sphinx and a British short hair. My sphinx, Blossom, has never, ever needed a vet visit, other than the usual checkups. My Brit, Onyx, on the other hand, has had multiple health issues! They are no more susceptible to illness then other cats.

@mariajonesaries these cats are so freakin' scary

I had a sphynx and more than once did I hear "Oh, poor thing! Was she in a fire?" But she was as beautiful on the inside as she was ugly on the outside!
-
@CandyCat957 I adopted a retired "breeder" and even my vet was amazed at how healthy she remained even into old age. She lived to be in her 20s.

If I ever get a sphynx, I'm gonna name it "testicles" XD

they don't say meow, they say aboot

@candycat- I don't know what experience you've had with sphynxs, but if you buy from the proper breeder you're not going to get a cat with a weak immune system. The only thing that would make their systems weak is a bad breeder. Mine offers a 5 year health guarantee

The sad part is these cats have week immune systems meaning your gonna have to go to the vet often

i dont care what anybody says, these cats are awesome!!!

0:35 - Is that actually true?
I know it is a myth in hairless dogs that they are warmer than other dogs; it just isn't true. They *feel* warmer because they don't have hair, and unlike us humans their skin hasn't evolved to be that way, which is why they don't hold heat as well.
i dont think sphynx are ugly
