HOW TO: INCREASE THE SPEED OF CYDIA ON YOUR IPHONE OR IPOD TOUCH!!!!

This video will show you how to remove the advertisements in cydia. Instead of loading the
entire package information, it simply loads the description.

IF YOU FORGET TO BACK YOUR FILE UP, HERE IS AN ORIGINAL YOU CAN PLACE BACK IN YOUR CYDIAP.APP FOLDER: http://www.sendspace.com/file/f9zm8t

Must Read:

1) Download this file: http://www.sendspace.com/file/f9zm8t

2) SSH into your device and navigate to /Applications/Cydia.app

3) Now in WinSCP drag the package.js file you just downloaded and drop it into /Cydia.app and
replace the file

4) restart cydia, and enjoy the increased loading speed of the packages without all of the
lag the advertisements cause

You might want to make a copy of your original package.js and save it to your PC/Mac
just in case you do not like this, you can copy the original back into Cydia.app folder

The package.js file isn't in the cydia.app folder.

Can you do an updated version of this video as I want to jump out the window whenever I'm in Cydia

i did it and it worked great but i want to change it back cause i like to have screenshots and i saved my old pakage.js but it wont change back and then i downloaded the one on this page and still nothing, does anybody know how to fix?
