Your memories are very interesting. I also belong to the same era about which you are talking about but I am still breathing in this era and enjoying all those things ( my favorite music fils etc ) which I used to rnjoy in my youth. You perhaps gone abroad and became alien to your soil but thanks to you tube which has ended all the distances .

Zareef died soon of heart attack. Film producers cast his brother in films to replace him as he had some resemblence with him. His name was Munawwar Zareef. I vaguely remember that one of the sons of the great Zareef was my class fellow at college and lived practically in the same area in Lahore were we lived !

Munawwar Zareef lived much longer and was very successful as a comedy actor on his own right. He left his mark on acting and the film industry.

My goodness. I have heard this song may be, after "centuries", and this time with the images. Noor JahaN as an actress was also great ! The male actor in this scene is, without any dout in my mind, Aslam Parvez.

He appeared in some films as hero with Noor Jahan including a film "Pattay Khan". In that film, another very great actor was Zareef. Zareef was perhaps the first great comedian actor (mazahia Adakar) in Pakistan.
