@backlash6sic6 Thats exactly it, its less about being the very best ever than being a really good fit with your fellow musicians, and thats exactly what he is and what metallica has tey are an excellent fit for eachh other and complement each other perfectly.

This dude is the reason i started drumming. He's not the fastest, or the most technical, but thats not what Metallica calls for all the time. He's incredibly creative and talented and one of the key driving forces behind some of the greatest albums and songs ever. Love this guy and the whole band \m/ \m/

This is the same guy who referred to R.E.M.'s "Shiny Happy People" as being "anti-heterosexual"! Now he's acting like an pompous snob. R.E.M. being from the 'red state' of Georgia and Mr. homophobe being from California? What a hypocrite! Grew up in the 80's, so I'm a huge Metallica and R.E.M. fan. Just saying.
