Remember by Postcards Of Life

With my daughter Evie. My original music added to Christina Rossetti's poignant poem (with a few extra words written into the end).
My great grandmother, grandmother, father and aunt are in the photos.

(And I think of all the things we did together, and things we never did. And I realise the most precious thing we have, is the time we are here, but we don't always know that, not until it's too late and the time has gone.
And of all the days we spent together, not one moment can we hold on to, they slip through our fingers and fade into the past. For where love is concerned, there is no time, only forever.)

My Granny, my Dad, my Aunt... they are all here in photos but please imagine who you will; they are the family members you have been given in this life. But we know, in the grand scheme, we are all one family. And we'll meet again and again and again. Bon voyage with love.

i cried listening to this song the first time...and i don't know why...touching...

now i know...i cried for it made me remember the people i who has gone away into the silent land...and i know...it is where i am going to in the end of my days...as we all are...i just hope that the people i love would REMEMBER ME when i'm gone...
