Great follow-up appearance, is there a strong secondary market for Olympic memorabilia in the US like some of the major pro sports? I always saw it as a secondary thing. Thanks!
loved the soviet boycott..mcdonalds ran a game where you would win food (parodied on the simpsons) if the usa won a gold, or silver or bronze..believe it was drink -bronze, big mac-gold...it was like a gampiece you pulled similar to monopoly..we lived off mcdonalds food that summer!!!!! evertime you got you "prize" it would have another game piece attached, and usually wham-o more free food!
