G8 G20 Toronto 2010 - Toxic Tour: Young Woman Describes Unjust and Unlawful Arrest by Toronto Police

June 23, 2010 was the third themed day of resistance leading up to the G8/20 summits in Toronto. The theme for this day was Environmental and Climate Justice. Several events took place. The first was a Toxic Tour of Toronto, shown in these videos, that highlighted several of the corporations and institutions responsible for Canada's shameful environmental track record.

The tour started with a series speakers in Alexandra Park near downtown Toronto. Here a young community member, one of the first who would be arrested in a brutal police crackdown on free speech in the following days, recounts her unjust and unlawful arrest by the Toronto police.
