Muscat Sisters( Twins Raadhika Venkatesh and Saanika Venkatesh) Present MAHADEVA SHIVA SHAMBO a beautiful Sanskrit composition in praise of Lord Shiva. This item depicts two stories. The first one is the devotion of Ravana towards Lord Shiva, where he plays the Saamagaana using his intestine as the veena. The other story is about the taming of the fury of river Ganges by Lord Shiva.

This has been specially choreographed and taught to the sisters by Guru Shrimathi Shirisha Shashank, Chennai. This performance was given by them during the Ganesh Festival held in Muscat shiva Temple in September, 2011
The twin sisters Saanika and Raadhika( Muscat Sisters) students of American British Academy, Muscat commenced learning the classical Indian dance form of Bharatnatyam from the tender age of four. The committed tutelage of their Guru Srimati Premila Ramesh and their active participation in various dance productions of Nrityanjali ( A dance scholl based in Muscat) namely Panchanayika, Bharathi and Stree Rama Nirikshanam over the last nine years have given them the right exposure and experience . Art runs in their family traversing back to four generations, who were performing musicians of repute . Saanika and Raadhika have also presented several dance programs in various forums in Oman and have won prizes in dance competitions.
The twin sisters also keenly pursue their interest in Western Music and play the Violin and Piano respectively and also have started performing ensembles together.
