Modest Mouse "Untitled" Documentary Pt. 2

Shot in 1997 by indie filmmaker Rick Madsen, this 36 min documentary filmed during the recording of the Modest Mouse album "The Lonesome Crowded West" will never be released commercially. Artists interviewed for the film include Elliott Smith, Spencer Moody from The Murder City Devils, Doug Martsch of Built To Spill, Sam Coombs of Quasi and Calvin Johnson.

I love actually being able to hear Eric and Jeremiah talk and say shit rather than just sit behind Isaac all the time. Though don't get my wrong, Isaac is great.

The doc has a bit of a indie zeitgeist feel to it. Three of the artists - BTS, Elliott Smith, and arguably MM - were about or just made the best albums of their career, and some of the most acclaimed albums of recent times.

@MrTrinklied I very much agree. Sam Coomes was also about to make his best album (a song of which him and Elliott Smith are playing in the end of this clip). Check out Quasi's album called Featuring "Birds".
