A tribute to Theo Van Gogh (film director)

Theo Van Gogh was a Dutch film maker. He was the great grand son of Theo Van Gogh, the famous Paris art-dealer and the brother of painter Vincent Van Gogh. He made the news, for making a movie critical of some elements in the Islamic faith. The film"Submission" caused a lot of anger and frustration in the Muslim community in both Holland and overseas. The screenplay was penned by Ayaan Hirsi Ali, a member of the Dutch parliament and a former Muslim. She was under police protection.

Now, Ayaan Hirsi Ali moved to the U.S. because of death threats sent by Muslim extremists who can't stand freedom of speech. Theo Van Gogh was murdered by a Muslim extremist in November 2nd 2004. He was 47. This just shows that Islam is a religion that promotes violence and it cannot stant criticism. Theo Van Gogh was brutally murdered by Muhammad Bouyeri because he made a movie called "Submission". He said that Theo Van Gogh had to be killed for insulting Islam.

@FreiesEuropa1683 Recently,in the U.S.an 18 years old mother and widow shot dead a violent intruder who was holding a large kitchen-knife in his hand,after struggling for 20 min.to break the door,together with a fellow criminal who ran away in fear for his life.In Europe we would have heard of an 18 years old victim butchered with her 3 months old baby,while that fellow would have enjoyed the luxurious european prisons for 20 years.

@superesterhazy They will keep getting more. It's he goal of Islam to rule the world! It is the same in Germany. We can't buy a gun just like that and it is expensive to get the license. On the other hand there are an estimated 20 million iilegal firearms in the hands of the people, who don't care about the law. So, it is clear, who will be in advantage, if it comes to the worst!

@FreiesEuropa1683 In Romania,where I live,owning a fire-gun is almost as difficult and expensive as owning a ballistic missile in the U.S.It is far easier and cheaper to own a tank in the U.S, than to own a rifle in my country.I think we are going to witness a deepening of the economic crisis in the years to come and,very likely,civil wars in many Western European countries.In E.Europe there is no islamic issue at all,since the muslim population is only about 1% and they are not welcomed at all!

@superesterhazy That is crazy. In Germany we have this luxury-treatment, too. People from Albania or Afghanistan laugh about these prisons and they laugh about the cops. We are heading towards a hard time.

@FreiesEuropa1683 It seems to be even worse in Norway - the newest norwegian prison doesn't even have bars at the windows,every inmate has a single room with its own bathroom,one large plasma tv and a double-bed.He should be sent to a Latin-American or Eastern-European prison,where he would certainly lose his virginity the very first night and end-up begging to be sent to work at harvesting crops for 3 euro/day.Still,I hope the dutch tax-payers are not providing him halal prostitutes!
